Noosa, an upmarket tourist destination. I only really came here as a break in my journey-and to go to the Australia Zoo-home to the famous Steve Irwin. It was a good day-despite all the commercialism that has come since his death. The animals were beautiful, it was very interactive and well set out. I got to walk amongst grey and red kangas, stroke koalas, feed elephants, see dingoes, tazmanian devils, echidnas and wombats going for a walk! I did manage to restrain myself in the gift shop and not buy a bindi doll though...
