We are touring Rome today. It's like the most important city in Italy with tons of history and so many neat attractions to see. We left on our tour with the group from dinner last night. Today is a scheduled sea day and Mom was looking forward to organizing her luggage, taking a nap, a latte, good book, whatever. Well, she got all that. We just hung out on the ship. Well, I said she wouldn't want to return to the town today. Her knee was still bothering her. We had some breakfast and went onto the pier for a little free wifi. We arrived in Venice in the morning and after breakfast, we headed out about 9:30am to the old town. We bought a ticket good for unlimited use on the public vaporetto and boarded it right at the harbor. It's about 25 minutes to St Marc Square, sort of the center of things.
