We decided to sleep in this morning. Mom was tired from yesterday's grueling run so we opted out of the walking tour to Strasbourg and slept in. Waking up at 9:30am, we just missed the breakfast deadline so we had coffee and muffins and waited until 11:30 lunch. I took advantage of the time to catch up on the blog. This morning we started out in two vans at 8:30, first traveling to Aix-en-Provence. The Romans were here many centuries ago because of the water underground. We felt water in a fountain in the city and it was warm water straight out of the ground and there were many more in the area. We walked through the old town area. Today there was no tour group we were on our own just doing our own thing. Today was a day to relax the town of Calvin, France is a small town on the coast, situated on the island of Corsica. There's only two things to do here: go to the town or go to the beach. The beach was a bit of a walk so Mom chose the town. Up with breakfast at the hotel and out the door by 7:30am. Metro to St. Lazare station, got our ticket activated and went on the train, first class. We're big shots so few people were in our carriage. We had another mishap in Rouen. We got to our first station.
