Davis-way to go with the highly amusing and informative blog entry! Sounds like things are going so well. I can't e-mail Grandma from your blog page so I would really appreciate it if you would send your latest entry to her!! Today I got a phone call from her saying that she did not get anything today!! I added 2 more sources for her to get weekly-Wolfgang recipes and Travel info!! I may have created an e-mail monster!! I agree with your murals idea. We could possibly do an entire street of houses with scenes from our own "beach" trips. By the way,Trent- I downloaded your CD from Brad and Sara and found some definite blackmail pictures of our last trip plus some pictures of unknown origin!! I shall keep them as ransom for a later date. It totally freaks me out to see youall wearing jackets. As I mentioned earlier, it has been sooooo hot and youall will probably melt when you get to Charlotte. Sat is supposed to be in the high 90's with the heat index, it will feel like 105!! So enjoy your last days of fun and games and I really hope youall will have an easy trip home. Take care. Love,Emmy

Hi! Really awesome pictures of Olso. It is so hot here that I am about to crawl into your pictures to cool down!! How was your trip to Olso? Where are you staying? I know all of you have had such a remarkable trip and I can't wait to hear all about it. I think my favorite thing so far is the video of the jump into the lake? Looks rather brisk! If you get a chance to update your blog, that would be great. Take care and have fun. When do you actually start your exciting? trip home? I know -way too many ?s, but I have not been out much with this lovely weather!! Mom has loved her "e-mail" machine. She wants me to add Wolfgang Puck recipes to her list!! Seriously!! Look forward to seeing youall soon. Love,Emmy

Hey Ackers + 1! Me & Mom enjoyed reading your blog! Time has slipped away from us since we've been at the lake almost a week, so it's hard to believe y'alls trip is almost over! Mom likes your captain hat, erica. & i just want you to bring me one home juuuuust like it!:) big jk. Not much to say on this end! All is well in SC, not near as exciting as your Norwegian adventures! Stay warm in your tent & that same fleece you wear everyday, erica! Maybe i'll pick you a new one up while me & mom go to Commerce & the Mall of Georgia tomorrow, ok? Or....maybe not. Miss you & talk to you soon! We love & miss you lots and lots! See you soon:)

Hi! What an awesome experience youall are having! The pictures are incredible and I am so glad everyone is well and having fun. Mom got your e-mails on Tuesday and she was so excited. The pictures you sent came out clear and she loved that also. I wish I had gotten that "printing mailbox" sooner so she would feel more connected to everyone! So keep the e-mails coming.Thanks. Charlie is doing better. His Dr visit on Monday went well. They took off all of his bandages so he can take a shower. The leg is sore and tender but feels better each day. He says he needs to go back to work on Thurs so I gave him a major "older sister" scolding but not sure he will listen!! Mom said youall are supposed to get in Sat night around 7pm. Hopefully, all your flights will go well and you will not need to spend another night in some strange hotel! I know youall will keep her posted as you fly home. She is a little concerned about driving at night after dark but is going to talk to Martha and family about meeting youall at the airport. It is been so hot here and is supposed to get worse as the week continues. I think the humidity alone will knock you over when you get off the airplane!! Take care. Have a great time in Olso. Love,Emmy

Hey gang! We have really enjoyed seeing the beautiful pictures and reading the eloquent updates from the bloggers. Sounds like a wonderful trip and I can't wait to hear the unedited versions of what transpired (especially about Kathryn and those reindeer). Things are going great here in Belmont. Pop is enduring my cooking and hasn't gotten sick yet from it. Really, he's doing great. He's really getting to know life with a 2 year old, for better and worse. He and Sarah have bonded over cartoons and putting pop in "time out". Keep the great blogs coming. We check every day for updates and live vicariously through your experience. Much love!
P.S. Have you decided on your hotel in Newark upon your return? We'll happy to check Priceline for you. :)
Hank
Time continues to fly. I am sure you are more aware of this as I am. The picture postings continue to amaze me and everyone else. It appears a little rustic in the northrnmost part of the country. How many people took the river plunge? I am certain there were a few who held back. Things here are good, just awaiting your return. Hope your time in Oslo goes well. I hope you remember how to act in civilization. See you soon!

Hello, world travelers! I have never seen such beautiful and incredible pictures and especially the ones of where you have stayed and been traveling! It is all so amazing! Thanks for calling Charlie, George. He really appreciated hearing from you. He seems to be doing well considering the surgery. Although he told me today that he is already tired of sitting around but when he stands up, his leg really hurts. It should be an interesting week!!! Just wish I was closer so I could help out. He goes to the dr tomorrow and they will change the bandages and check things out. Can't wait to see youall and hear about everything. What an incredible trip of a lifetime with great memories. I have really enjoyed your messages and photos. Take care. Love,Emmy

Hi,so good to hear from you. I can't wait to see the pictures from your outdoor adventure. The ship looks great and I bet your voyage will be breathtaking! It is hot and humid here with some rain. Martha and I wish we were at a cool place like you are! Charlie's surgery ended up well but he had to wait almost 5 hours[during which time he got more and more nervous] and then the surgery took longer. Mom, Martha and I were going nuts waiting to hear from Sandy. The dr said he had never seen such big veins!! Sandy called us around 6:15pm to tell us Charlie was in recovery. They watched him and finally let him go home. I talked to Sandy at 11:00 pm Friday night and they had just gotten home. I got to talk with Charlie for a minute and he was rather "uncomfortable"! He goes back to the dr on Mon for a check-up. Enough dr talk, just wanted to let you know how things went. Have a great week and keep the pictures and messages coming. Love,Emmy

Hi,good luck out in the wild!! Be sure to take lots of pictures so we all can share in the experience. I talked to Charlie late yesterday and he is SO ready to get on with the leg surgery! He is supposed to be at the hospital by 8am today and the operation may take several hours. I will let you know how things go. So when you return to civilization there will a message for you. It is not a fun operation, but he will feel much better in a couple of weeks. We are all so impressed with all the walking and mountain climbing you are doing. I can't wait to hear all about your wilderness experience. Take care.
Todd
OK, I know it took you guys like a week to get there and another week to get all your luggage, but after looking through all the photos, I want to contact the Fundingsrud Travel Agency about a trip in 2 or 3 years (have to wait until Sarah is just a little bit older).
Looks like everyone is having a great time and what a beautiful place. Hope you have fun camping in the tents, and I hope George can stand upright after sleeping on the ground for few nights.
Glad you guys are having fun. Things are fine back here in the USA. Sarah is doing a good job of looking after Pop.
PS - Hank: Hans hasn't aged. It is only you.
Hank
Everyone looks great. Trine and Siri look more beautiful and Jonas looks taller and skinnier (and of course funnier), just kidding. Hans I think it is only you and I who have aged a bunch. Everyone take care and let me hear from all of you.
