Today I moved into my new apartment and settled into life as a single man in town. Its felt like a hol, iday until now as I have lived out of suitcases and not had a place to call my own. The Hotel life had its benefits. Never made my bed for the last 6 weeks. Haven't had to prepare a meal for myself or anyone else for that matter. (That will change this weekend as I host the entre for my section of the progressive mystrery dinner. Its quite a good variation that you may be aware of but I haven't come across before. Everyone gets a course and then while they are there they get instructions on how to get to the next venue for whoever is putting it on. Ecxh location has a different grou[p of people and you don't see the same person all night until everyone comes together after dessert for drinks at one location)
Back to the apartment. I've loaded a series of shots to show the rooms and the view from the lounge at night but to cover some of the main points. It has 3 bedrooms. Two double beds and one room has two si ngles. (So if you're planning on visiting first in best dressed) There's a maids room but that is so small it'll probably stay as the ironing room. There is also a 3rd bathroom off the maids room but again its usages beyond a toilet are limited. There is also a day toilet so if you've got the delhi bellie from eating too much of the curry and spice you should be fine. The kitchen here have two common elements. They don't have dishwashers (The maids are for that apparently) and the washing machine is always located in the kitchen. They aare invariably a front loading model which I don't know a lot about. I've started my one and its spins like crazy and I'm not really going to know if I got the powdser and the softener in the right slots until it finishes. I'm doing some towels so I reckon I can't do too much damage (Yeah right) (Is it supposed to sound like a plane taking off?) You'll notice the stunning shot of my shirts hung in the wardrobe. That my friends is the total hanging space in the Master bedroom. I kid you not. (Jenni I have no idea what you're going to do when you get here) There are tiles all the way through and a aircon system that has temperature controls through the house and outlets everywhere. Up on level 18 is the administration area. This is where I organise heavy loads of laundry and see the man about Show time. (THe local equivalent of Sky) All in all a very satisifactory start to my new accommodation.
