So 4 bottles of vodka later....and new zealand is coming to an end! I leave tommorrow for south america and for the last leg of my trip!!I have had the most mental week of my life ever and am now suffering big time....i just want to sleep!!! From Wellington (boring place!) we drive to Lake Taupo, which is where i did my sky dive, was awesome but didnt really phase me as id jumped off a bridge which was a hell of a lot better!!! Gorgeous views from 15000ft as expected! But i cant really remember jumping out of the plane apart from spinning round and round which was pretty fun! The aeroplane up there was the worst bit as it was tiny and kept turning....blur! So after four hours sleep that night i woke up at 5:30am to go and "tramp" the Tongariro Crossing! Blumin amazing it was! I sat next to the funniest guy from newcastle on the bus there....proper character...infact he was exactly like ant and dec it was hilarious! Did the hike with a couple of guys form our bus, as soon as the bus stopped we legged it to be ahead of everyone. the hike was up the side of volcanoes which where still active. You dont go up with a guide as its not quite winter yet, however the snow was up to my shins and there was a ridge with sheer drop either side which was just sheet ice, tad scary and it was windy. I didnt fall over though, friend did 7 times!! i laughed away quietly!!! Walking down the other side was tricky to as it was still a ridge but this time loose icy rocks, slid the whole way down! Views where unreal, miles away from anything just see snow and frozen lakes the whole hike. The hike was meant to take about 7-8 hours, we set off at about 7:45 and by 12 we were less than two hours away, we are the original mountain goats! The smell of sulphur coming out of the vocanoes and lakes was unreal...soooo strong, and really hot when we put our hands over the steam holes. Wicked day though! Next stop Roterua, here i did black water rafting. Basically caving but with rubber rings and we floated through limestone caves and jumped of waterfalls backwards in our rings. Thousands of glow worms lined the roof of the caves they looked cool. and towards the end the guides made us get out the cave in the pitch black, i kept having a sneaky look with my torch so in the end the guide took it away from me....not amused! ha. that night was MESSY!!! everyone was out and about! Started off by swimming in the heated out door pool, boiling hot...infact too hot but lovely....then drinking games galore! which i always loose, sobered up by lunchtime the next day just about i think! Played tennis with the group of lads where travelling with at the moment, played three hours in the evening was sooooooooooooo good, first time ive played in 4 months! the lads are fit fit fit so was goood tennis!!! mmmm! maya decided watching guys play tennis was a bit sexy! i agree! Stayed up till 2am stupidly to watch the french open final, which wasnt even on the end, gayyyy times, so still tired! one last night out tonight and then im going in a time machine!!! yayayyayaay!!!
