Soooo, we are about to leave New Zealand now unfortunately although it will b good to get some hot weather!!Alex and I were definately not kitted out for freezing conditions but the purchase of a cheao hoodie and sum fleece PJ's have seen us thru!! We went from Christchurch to Queenstown...where we did skydiving.....Queenstown was beautiful but a bit too touristy and loud for us so we moved up to Wanaka....which was a much smaller scale of Queenstown and we LOV...

WOW.....My first SKYDIVE = AMAZING!!!! I was really excited when we got there, couldnt wait to get kitted up and up in the air.... but as soon as i was in my very attractive jump suit it all hit home and i started to get a little scared! This was multiplied when we got into the plane and our 'Tandum Masters' fully strapped us to them....AHHHH!!! Al seemed to fine.....excited but calm....me - i was petrified....my legs wouldnt stop shaking!!!!! Al went firs...

We arrived in Christchurch two days ago!! It is gorgeous here. Everyones very friendly, its very clean and the hostel is alot better than i had expected!! Chirstchurch as a city though is very quiet, theres quite a few shops and cafes and bars and its all within 15 minutes walking so thats cool!! Tomorrow we are planning to rent a car (WELL CHEAP) and head to Queenstown and then head up the coast spending a few days in Nelson and stopping off along the way ...
