Today was my catch a breath day, sleep in, get some washing done, do some blog, work, downloading photos and posting some postcards – I know that just sounds totally boring when I am supposed to be out exploring but I think you have to do that after a good 13 days of go go go. It was nice to chillax as they say.
The sun was out, there was probably time to do some sightseeing but I was just happy going for a small walk near the lake, then had a nice seafood basket at the Hotel cafe outside (with all the other umbrella loving the sun people). Oh bought nothing in St Moritz you have to be super rich, oh yes I did, I got a little carmel nut cake thing to share - famous for St Moritz area, it's for Hump Day - the hotel has a cake and chocolate shop attached to it.
So I thought my blog would be quite short today and not much to report, but no, the train I selected to catch was at 5pm , I choose that one to ensure I only had one change over on the way to Basel. Because it was not the tourist train returning I thought the trip would be sub standard to what I saw on the Glacier Express., but no the trip so far has not let me down, I'm taking photos from both sides of the train, beautiful green valley’s and overseeing snow capped mountains. I was a little worried for my selection of train, because the change over in Chur had me having to get off one train and getting on another within 5 minutes of arrival – ok, I made it.....just.
Leanne has been in contact, she arrived in Frankfurt and was heading to Basel, I told her not to wait up for me, as I get in at 9.27pm and then I have to checkin etc, and that we’d just catch up tomorrow, because she’d probably also want to settle in after a big flight. I did send her a welcome to Switzerland Yodel. Ha ha.
Anyways I was getting to all my blog this morning, and now I can get all of them done, because this final leg of the trip goes for 2.5 hours and it’s beautiful, double decker -I stayed on the bottom because of my bags and it leaves me with a carriage almost with no one in it , as everyone goes to the top. I have power for my laptop, there is a restaurant on board, and comfy seats what more could a girl want?
Back to adventures tomorrow, not just me but two of us - yeah – Leanne and I to rock the Rhine!

Anon I believe the "What more could a girl want?" is a very open ended question.
