Mum woke this morning with a surprise by her bedside - Minnie had been by, like the Tooth Fairy comes when you loose a tooth. Thanks family, it went down well. See pics for how the day was - a picture tells a thousand words :).
7.30am Breakfast with Disney Characters at the Pier Hotel, a must for the birthday girl!
California Adventure Park here we come............
Birthday Girl Button does help with a fastpass for bypassing those lines - yeah! No-one in Disney forgets your birthday, everyone says Happy Birthday Jan!!
Loved the Grizzly River Run, again water seems to be on our list of favourite rides, although Radiator Springs Race took first place not only in the race we were in, but for the best ride of the Disney parks. We were in a red car, had to go fast hey! John you would have been proud!
Spectacular was Aladdin's Musical complete with flying carpets and Pixar Parade with all the Toy Story favourites, including the Green Amy Men.
Special dinner arranged at Ariels Grotto, and of course - cake and the "Happy Birthday" song.
The night was topped off by one of the most magical shows we've ever seen, the "World of Colour", it was not only visually spectacular it was breathtaking. I did get a few photos but wanted to take it all in so didn't get too many.
Farewell Disney - may more stories be told Walt!
Our transfer arrived at the Stovall's Inn after the show for collection, and we are now in Beverley Hills at the Holiday Inn.
Nice hotel, large room. I can't seem to get understood at times though, my accent must be either very strong or too fast, tonight I asked reception for some tourist brochures and got toothbrushes instead.
