I found a really nice shopping centre in Moscow. It's directly opposite one of the metro lines, so it's very easy to get to. I finally managed to use my voucher that was given to me for Teachers Appreciation Day! I bought shower gel and make up. When I got to the till to pay, the sales lady took my shower gel and brought it back with a hand wash. She signalled that the hand wash was for free. Not only did I not have to pay for the shower gel because of the voucher, but I also got an additional gift in the hand wash! A double win!
They have a Marks & Spencer store, but sadly only for clothes. I was hoping they would have the food court as well. After walking around the centre exploring, I found a really cosy looking cafe, stopped there for lunch and ended up having a delicious apple strudel for dessert.
While exploring the shopping centre, I found flat escalators which are really cool. It's like the ones that have at airports, only this goes from one level to the next. Easy to push a trolley or a pram. More malls should have this kind of escalator instead of the stairs kind. So much easier and they appear to be wider too.
