Nothing beats gliding alongside turtles and sharks! The Perhentian Islands are gorgeous! We are staying in Maya Chalets (another rough guide find) which is 12 little chalets on the beach with a restaurant and lots of coconut trees. We love it. There is nothing else to do but eat, sleep, swim and soak up the sun. We only have a little electricity in the evenings which all adds to the fun! Definately doing me good. The Surat Thani night boat was one to remember! Literally a long bed with numbers and about 70 people all laid next to each other. Unfortunately the girl next to Will didn't really fit very well in her allocated slot! This was the start of a pretty eventful day. We all piled into a Songthaew at 5am and got taken to an office to wait for our transport to Hat Yai.
