Hi All, just a quick blog not sure how much longer my $2 will last! lol. We both had a nice time in Sydney, the cold was a bit of a shock though! Nothing compared to an English weather though! We are hardy folk. The flight felt long but quantas are really good and made it a very comfortable flight always bringing round bananas and tea lol. We stayed the whole time in a nice hostel called the pink hous, which is literally a pink house. On our first day in sydney we walked around to get the feel of the place then spent the evening at Darling Harbour and had dinner there. I had a fish pie and Hen had fish and chips was very tasty, good hearty food :-) The next day we went on a hunt for warm clothes in the centre, anf went to look at the tower which was pretty cool, I wanted to have dinner there but it was quite expensive. The next day we went to see the Sydney opera house which was really cool got some nice pictures, although it is a lot smaller than I expected. Then we walked but he harboua nd had some crab claws and chips before getting the ferry across to Manley (a good surfing beach). We had some ice creams and watched the surfers (Hen was jealous as he wanted to surf lol). Had some sushi in the evening then went backm to pack Hen's things together for him to leave for NZ. I spent my last day wondering around Sydney, went to Hyde park, the victoria galleries ahhhhhhh time is going bye for now! x x xlot of love Abbey and Henry x x x x
