Hello everyone. We have left Thailand and we are now in Laos. We spent our last day in Chiang maisorting out how to get to Laos (we flew), and we had our first Thai massage, which cool although I had a big lady who hurt my hurting trek muscles lol. I was constantly trying not to laugh as I could see Hen getting manhandles out the corner of my eye. We then flew to Luang Prabang which took an hour. Laos is beautiful! At first we thought it was a very sleepy town, then we realised there was a curfew at 12 so everywhere shuts by about 10:30. We had our first pizza in a long while and looked around the market here. which is a lot better than the markets in thailand, lots more crafts. There are lots of bakerys here, and imitations of French food. Beer is even cheaper here, we have moved on from chang to beer lao which is good. Hen tried some rice whiskey but it wasn't too good lol. Things are pretty different here there are only two ATMs and one doesn't work. I hope eveyone is OK at home.
