Hi there you sexy, young globetrotters.

I've just been looking at all of your fab photos. Athough a lot of them are really comical and tongue-in-cheek, you seriously have taken some amazing shots that had me mesmerised. No kidding. As much as I loved the great shots of Disneyland and Wilmington etc, I think you know me well enough - well Sarah at least - to realise that I have a deep rooted love of history and music, and even though I'm no Elvis fan, and thought he and 'Colonel Parker' were the greatest musical con artists of the 20th century (king of rock and roll indeed!), I was still absolutely awestruck by the shots of both the interior and exterior of Sun studios, the mics, recording equipment etc. This kind of history is priceless. And although Elvis's sense of interior decoration seems to match his mostly tacky and tasteless attitudes in music (and women), it's still all something that should be preserved forever as a monument to one of the most overrated artists of all time (just my personal opinion of course.) Hell, even Elvis's grave looks tacky and overdone. Having said that though, the pics themselves are drenched with atmosphere, and I loved them. Also the Gibson guitar factory (hell, just let me loose in that place for a few days.) Photos of the Canyon cafe & Jim's house were special, but the one in particular, my idol Joni Mitchell's house (even if it was dark) is one I'll keep forever.

It's all so good because these days I've got no desire to travel anywhere, but you bringing it all home to me is like being there anyway. Besides, if I ever did go to Memphis, I'd need to wear gaff tape over me gob, just so I didn't get strung up by the local Elvis freaks.

Also Washington's suit and 'honest Abe's hat. Too awesome for words. I just love stuff like that.

Must say too that you're both looking fit and well, and the Minnie ears add that special touch of innocence to your sweet faces - even if we do all know better.

Glad you're enjoying life at my Aunt Shirleys. She seems to have taken a shine to you both, as I knew she would (who wouldn't). Hope you enjoy London as there's so much to see. And don't forget my pic of the 'Waterloo Sunset'. You know how homesick that song makes me.

Anyway keep the pics coming. Hope you get some good ones of England, and don't forget if you go to Winchester Cathedral to give Jane Austen a flower from me (if you're allowed).

well you have certinly done New York what about Maceys though dont tell us you missed that one!! We are in Moscow freezing our butts off lots of snow and the people are very stern so no wonder you found the little version spooky the big one is even more so although St Petersburgh was fantastic must say> We leave on the trans siberian train tonight bound for where else Siberia!! It will probably be minus 10 or something so lucky we have thermals. After that we get the train again to Mongolia kep having fun
