Just a quickkie! We are back on the north island searching out those waves and have returned to the Tarankai area. We've been getting plenty of water time and turning into shiriveled prunes in the sun so all is good - although, we have been sharing the waves with all of New Zealands pro's as the nationals is on for this week, but we still been doing those random hikes and finding empty left hand points! Well our surf guide to New Zealand says that New Zealand is a very safe place, no dangerous animals or snakes and shark attacks are VERY rare.
