Hello, its been a few days since we last updated, we spent 4 nights in a place called Guiones, there was so many monkeys in the trees, and when we tried to get a closer look at them they would run along the tops of the trees and try to pee on us from above!! as sweet as they looked im sure they were quite evil really! The nearest beach is a 20 minute walk but the waves werent too good there so we were looking forwards to moving on to Tamarindo. After 7 hours, 1 broken down bus, then another 2 buses we finally arrived. Tamarindo is the largest place in terms of ammenities, that we have been to so far, there are quite a few hotels, restaurants and even a burger king! our cabinas is pretty basic but cheap, around 9 pounds a night for the room. We woke at 6 and walked for a few hours, having to cross a river, rumored to have crocs hiding on the banks, i've never seen aaron paddle so fast, im sure he was leaving me for bait! we survived but didnt find our perfect waves that we'd hoped to find! ah well, back for hallo pinto, the local breakfast of fired beans and rice, wierd cheese, toast and plantain and fresh juice. yum!
