First night in Dalat went out for drinks and food with two people we met on the coach up Claire and Mark. We are both staying at the same little hotel one of the most friendly places we have stayed. Had great food as usual and lots of Dalat red wine. The bus journey to Nha Trang was a nightmare with my sunburns. Not helped by the person sat in front who when getting on the bus proceeded to cut his finger nails and then move on to his toe nails. Later he was scratching his arse, arm pits and making horendous noises not condusive to a good nights sleep. Left Hanoi for Hue on the night train. It wasn't the comfort we had come accustomed to with intrepid. We shared a 6 bed cabin with some locals and many insects who liked to sleep under are matress. It took 17 hours, it was 5 hours late! Arrived in Hue at 3.00 so we didn't really get time to see a great deal of it but much quieter than Hanoi as a lot less beeping. Last night with the intrepid group so are treat was a visit to the Water puppet show! It was deffinately a skill but not necesarily entertainment especially when it is an hour long. It is worth a look but a planned escape route is a deffinate.
