Wednesday - Day 1 Left Adelaide at 12.30. We hit the highway and headed north, stopping briefly at Crabtree Winery in Watervale (Clare Valley) for a wine tasting - an attempt to transition from hectic preparation and house tidying mode into our relaxed, sight seeing/travel mode. Finally the departure date has arrived. The intention was to leave early this morning but as normal with us......we were not ready. Following tearful farewells with our Bonney girl we were waved off by Dave and Kris at 12:30pm. And so... our adventure begins!!
