Time to ride the cable cars today. Went downtown and did a bit of shopping. Last day of our holiday today, driving to LA tomorrow for the flight home.

Did the boat tour around the bay, through the golden gate bridge and around alcatraz. Was very cold and extremely foggy so did not get a good view of the bridge. Checked out pier 39 and all the sea lions that have taken over the pier. Also checked out the wax museum and Ripley's believe it or not museum.

Drive to Sanfrancisco via the nut tree outlets from Sacramento. Staying at fisherman's wharf. Heaps of shopping and restaurants close by. Had dinner at the rainforest cafe, three floors of restaurant done up like a jungle rainforest complete with mechanical animals.
