Finally the D day dawned, well factually not 'dawned', cause my alarm screetched at 0500 hrs and it was still dark and if it wouldn't have been for the vacation I would have instinctly snoozed it.

Groggily swati and me pulled our selves to getting ready and after an hour were in the car heading to Pune airport driven by our ever gracious Papa.

We have booked Air India for the international flight and had a connecting flight to Delhi. I have often come across people complaining about Air India, but after having experienced complimentary breakfast and personal entertainment systems I have no complaints. Regarding the other complaint about the air hostess's, well I concede they are not exactly hot young and sexy but even if they were how many of us would have actually done anything about it??!!

We had 4 hrs at Delhi airports T3 terminal before boarding the international flight and Swati ensured to make the most out of it at the numerous duty free shops.

At around scheduled time of 1420 hrs we were finally boarded and on our way to Milan. It was the new dreamliner aircraft and everything looked brand new. After an uneventful 8 hr journey which felt much longer we arrived at Milan about 18:30. It wasn't the site I was expecting...........
