Lance had a surprise for me on the 4th of July!

We were just going to bum around Kasese for the day, as he'd just finished climbing Mt. Margherita in the Rwenzori Mountains. Instead, he arranged for us to use a guy's car, as we are very sick of the transportation, to drive to Queen
Elizabeth National Park. Joshua, the car's owner, agreed for us to use his car as long as he can come along and drink the whole day. Cheers!

We had a fantastic lunch...those are always noteworthy...then did a boat launch. We did the same in Murchison Falls, but really enjoyed it. We saw hippos and crocs and a ginormous elephant. Afterwards, we did a game drive by ourselves to see if we could spot a lion, which we missed on our guide-led game drive. No
luck again. It was a fun day!

Now, off to Lake Bunyoni for a few days of R&R.
