I am in Como now and LOVE it!! This is much more what I was anticipating in visiting Italy. Venice was beautiful, but I felt as though I was constantly in a herd.

Como is right on Lago di Como, both are nestled in the mountains of Northern Italy. My morning was spent walking on a path along the lake, taking in the scenic mountainous views. I also took in some museums, cathedrals and parks. For my afternoon, I took a ferry to Bellagio, where I ventured through the small Italian town on cobblestone walks.

Both Bellagio and Como are quaint Italian towns, a breath of fresh air from the hustle and bustle of the more touristy locations. On to Cinque Terre!
