The Griffith family - minus Brian, plus Jodie - joined us today. Since Lance and I had had a few days to scope out the area, we played tour guides for them.

We started our morning with another hike on Moon Hill. This time, an army of Chinese women tagged along in hopes of selling us water. Unfortunately, I did not see my old friend, Tiger Lady. I think she was getting her pet tiger!!! After the hike, we took them through the Yangshuo countryside on bikes, which was followed by bamboo rafting down the Yulong River.

To cap off the day, we took a hot air ballon ride. We had told the kids that there was a surprise at the end of the day (the hot air balloon ride) and of course, they had to know what was going to happen. They spent most of the day guessing what their surprise was. I kept telling them that they got to have some snake wine. I think they were relieved to find the hot air balloon waiting for them, rather than the snake wine.
