A hike to the peak of Moon Hill started our morning. And yes, we did greet Tiger Lady!

We climbed aboard a river boat tour to enjoy an afternoon of spectacular views on Li River. Little did we know that we would soon become the main attraction for the other passengers. It turned out that Lance and I were the only Westerners aboard, which was a bit random considering all of the other boats that we met had several. Our popularity started when we had a group form around us to watch our card game. Soon, we were shyly asked by a few to take photos with them. Ok, sure, whatever. This then erupted into taking hundreds of requests to take photos with other passengers. One lady even put her umbrella over me to shade me from the sun.

Aside from spectacular scenery, quality time with my bf and my newfound celebrity status, the other highlight would have to be the snake wine. A jug filled with wine and a number of snakes to enhance its flavor (and color) to taste like snakes. Mmmm!
