DAY 21-25 Thursday-Sunday 18.2.-21.2.2010 Livingstone, Zambia

We decided to spend time in Livinston Backpackers till Monday morning, because that is the

day when we are flying to Cape Town. It has been raining almoust everyday & all the time and

the internet is still not working in our hostel, but we are still smiling:) We have managed

to save some money in these days because we have made our own food in our hostels stove and

it really has been delicious!
Thurdays menu: lunch/dinner, pasta with spicy tomato onion chicken tights
Fridays menu: brunch, home made beef hamburgers
Saturdays menu: dinner, noodles with jumbo frank sausage, baby corn and beans
Sundays menu: tomato cheddar ham pasta with red pepper and onion

+ of course every morning (except friday) a healthy breakfast: bread with something fresh

(salad, tomato or cucumber), ham, butter and a milky fruit drinks.(Boys tried also a local

milky drink called Maheu, drink made of corn, and.. it really was bad! We recommed that

drink only for hang over mornings!)
+ almoust every day a yummy ice cream for dessert
+ some snacks during the day, a lot of our favourite stawberry candy, fizzer!

Heikki and Kari started a pool battle which is ment to last for all trip long. There is

really good pool culture in Africa. Even in those non-water-elctricity villages has always

pool tables. Hope that same will continue in Asia. Give us suggestions about penalty to

total-massive-sucker-complitely-embarased-loser! At the moment penalty is that loser must go

to swim to some lake in Finland when we come back. It's becouse water temperature is not so

much then. But maybe some other penalty might be better? Tell us!

Our hostel, livingstone Backpackers is - of course and again - very nice place! There is

also swimming pool, pool table etc. So not bad. Tomorrow we'll fly to Cape Town, South

Africa.
