Welcome to our blog!

Lucy and I are in the beginning stages of planning a 3 month sabbatical to France! Tickets are purchased and we are now planning our stay. We leave August 22nd with the whole family. Arch, David, Lucy and I will fly out of Dulles and in to Toulouse, France. We will head straight to Carcassone, France where we will be with family for a wine harvest at a vineyard. After 3 days there, we will go to our home stay in Loches, France. Maury and Gail Hancock, co-workers at St. Catherine's, have graciously helped to make this possible. A huge thank you to them for opening their home to help make our sabbatical come true. For three nights we will explore the beautiful town of Loches and then head to Paris. We will see the sights and sounds of Paris for 4 nights. The boys will then head back to Richmond to start school and Lucy and I will return to start our adventure in Loches. We will update soon!
