Wake up at 5.30am (also waking Amy, who stayed the night with me). My bedroom floor was covered in clothes that couldn't fit in my backpack, I found it hard but I had to be ruthless with packing, with help from Marsie, Mum and Amy the night before! Was more stressful and took longer than I expected. Zipping up my bag was such a relief!

Had homemade pancakes for breakfast with Mum and Amy and Amy gave me a pressy which was a "plastic card" like a credit card but with pictures of us on and a locket with pictures of Mum and Dad in. Very sweet.

2pm - Us 3 set off to Heathrow Airport Terminal 3, Check in at Virgin Atlantic then head to Costa for a coffee and cake. 5.30pm we said our byes for now. Mixed emotions of excitement, and sadness after a big group hug I went through but I kept waving back!!

Board the plane at 7pm feeling pretty excited!
