Down on Utah beech the wind was blowing hard and the sand was stinging our legs and faces as we ventured along the shoreline.

Inside the church of St Mere Eglise is this special stained glass window commemorating the D day landings. You can see two paratroopers on either side of the Virgin Mary. This church is a delight and is well worth a visit.

Hi all. Woke up after a peaceful nights rest in a double bed to myself. In fact we’ve all got double beds and three singles to spare. This house is a peach. I’d recommend it to anyone who’s interested. Sat out in the sunshine this morning until we all achieved a desire to leave and go exploring!! France is a huge country with a wide diversity of countryside. From rolling plains, to huge forests, beautiful rivers, deep gorges and amazing wildlife. It’s a lot like the UK was before it was ruined.

Stopped at a supermarket for lunch material and then on to a nice lay-by with tables and chairs. Very civilised!! Notice the tailgate open. It won’t now!!
