Hello Guys! Sadly the epic journey is over and now we are back in good old Blighty. We left Hong Kong on Thursday and arrived back here early Friday morning, much to the surprise of everyone who thought we were coming home Sunday. Who can believe it has been almost a year since we left? But what a year it has been for us, the only word we can think to describe it is Awesome. The places we have been and the things we have seen has been amazing. The cultures we came across were a real eye-opener and great to experience. The smells and sounds were unbelievable and will be something that stays in our memories forever. It has been an emotional year with many highs and also some lows but there has been so many new experiences, good and bad which we will never forget. Our highlight of the year we think is when we did the Inca Trail. The trail was so amazing with beautiful views, great ruins and it was such an achievement for us to complete it really started the year off well. We think our favourite country was New Zealand, where the scenery was awesome with so much wildlife to see and everywhere you go there is always something different. Other highlights, which are endless, that come to mind are horse riding in Chile, Helens bungy jump, snowboarding, glacier hike, drinking cava in Fiji, seeing the opera house and bridge in Sydney, diving on the Great Barrier Reef, in Thailand and Vietnam, Ayers Rock, the islands of Thailand, the culture of Vietnam, Hong Kong, the food, the drink and of course the day we got engaged on the deserted island. We met all sorts of people throughout the year some a little weird but also some fantastic people that we will keep in touch with now we are back home. Unfortunately all good things come to an end and now its back to real life for us and getting a job (anyone got any going?). It is a new start for us and we are looking forward to the challenge that lies ahead and we hate to say it but it is good to be home.
