Bula Bula! We just left Fiji today. It rained a lot and we had a rubbish time. Just kidding.... The weather was lovely and hot and the beaches were beautiful. We spent 10 days in the Yasawa Islands in total, hopping between Naviti, Nanuya Lailai, Kuata and Bounty Island. Our accommodation comprised of basic huts, with cold showers. We didn't exactly overexert ourselves. We did some snorkelling, short island walks, danced at a Fijian Meke, drank kava with the locals, cheered on our crab 'Michael Shellmacher' at the crab racing, played some bingo, and somehow managed to struggle through the 4 litres of duty free rum that we took with us. Yes it's been a traumatic week and a half, but we've made it through! Hope you're all well. We are looking forward to receiving your hate-mail...... be kind! Love Ben and Helen x
