Internet access has been very poor for the last month so while we are back at the Overland Mission near Victoria Falls we will try to upload a few photos. So here goes.

Anti climax Malawi Well, although a definite improvement on the road into Lukwa it was still very punishing on the truck. But taking it very slow with the appropriate amount of caution saw us negotiate the seventy five kilometers in about three and half hours. After hitting the local M1 that runs north south inland a little from Lake Malawi itself, we made good time on what could very well be the best surfaced road we have struck so far in Africa. 14th May 2011 Weather: 30ishC/Clear skies (nights down to about 18C) Over the last few days we have been working our way along the Caprivi Strip. This is a strip of land, (stating the bleeding obvious), that separates Angola from Namibia and Botswana. I believe it's history is steeped in the blood and guts of the poor locals.
