re: into Malaysia...omie en opa Hallo Becky, Maybe you get this comment 2 x. I told you that you make us jealous with your adventures and all that nice food. We just eat dutch bami (maar het was toch ook wel lekker). Nog maar een heerlijke week meisje en dan zijn we toch weer blij dat je weer thuis bent. Nog veel plezier.
re: Final Thai daysmum Well, you haven't really had bad weather so far yet so maybe it is good to get used to rain again before flying home. Make the most of the warm sea though and don't party too much!
re: to the beach!Calum Sounds amazing. I think London would come to a standstill if everyone was security checked every time you went into the underground though. Have a great time. Speak soon xx
re: Bankok to SingaporeMum Goodness me, I want to go. Not sure I would be able to cope though, it sounds so lovely. Enjoy your last couple of weeks!
re: Bankok to SingaporeKieran Cycling that far is mad! Well done though, it must have made it so much more rewarding when you got to see the sights at the top. The scenery you're describing sounds so amazing, I can't wait to see the pictures!
re: pai to BangkokEsther Your Dutch roots are showing! Just two more weeks? Time flies when you're working and not traveling! Kus en knuffel van Annemieke en Gijs!
re: pai to BangkokRosie Enjoy Pai - you will love it - just be careful whose motorbike you get on the back of ;-) I read some really interesting books about the monks while I was in Chang Mai - mostly accounts written by the young boys - what happened next type of thing. Some stayed monks but you're right, most of them didn't! Jealous of your sun, it is grey and miserable here. And as you;ve guessed, I am booking you in for all 9 of those dishes! Yum! Lots of love xxx
re: One week in Chiang maikieran That sounds like you're throwing yourself into it! It's good to read about your trip to the elephant (and dog) sanctuary. I hope you enjoy Pai and keep seeing amazing things. I'm looking forward to seeing all of your photos, especially Ankor Wat and the elephants! Lots of love, Kieran.
re: One week in Chiang maimum Wow! You are going to need some time to sort out your photographs as it will be a shame not to put them in an album with the stories to go with them. Does everything still fit in your backpack?
re: One week in Chiang maiOmie and opa Becky, you will never stop talking about this journey when you are home again. Does mai mean west and rai east? and Pai something different? And what are samosas? So questions enough. A kiss from opa and opa.
re: One week in Chiang maiOnno Hi Rebecca, it is good to read you had a great time with your favorite animals! Have fun the rest off your trip! See you soon! Onno, Esther, Gijs en Annemieke
