Hi everyone. The first time I've had any communication with the outside world since the scariest traveling experience of my life. Great way to start, huh? Well this is going to be short and sweet, hopefully I'll have another chance to write soon.

I am in Italy. Everything is fine. I'm surprised with how well my Italian is already - and so is everyone else. I've never missed people like I do now, but these are the experiences that really make you grow. Maybe one day I'll be sitting in a chair across from Oprah recounting these days with a laugh. I'm laughing right now, don't worry. But it'll be different when I'm back home and have you wonderful people around me.

Ok, I said short and sweet and surprisingly for me, I meant it! :-D I'm heading off to a lamparata with a group of deaf Italian kids. It really is quite a life.
