This diary is a record of the journeys we make, the places we visit and the people we meet as we travel in our motor-home, named Mary Lou, guided along ably (most of the time) by Snoopy the sat-nav.
It begins in April 2014, one year on from our first tentative (no pun intended) camping trip, 2013 having been a learning year, gradually easing us into the world of motor-homes and camping.
Our first year clocked up 31 nights and over 4000 miles as we found ways to overcome the hurdles…

re: The Last LegRog. Etang de Berre ! takes me back to 1965 and my first trip to sea; used to discharge at Port du Bouc for the BP refinery at Lavera. In later years on the VLCC's we discharged at Fos sur Mer on the very edge of the Camargue. Hope your back's OK now Nick.
