We are currently celebrating our own festival for not having the squits yet. Its fab.

Caught a train saturday at 4pm in Ayutthaya. Got off it in the morning around 6am in Chiang Mai. As it was a night train, we were supposed to get a bunk and sleep in it. However, there were no bunks left so we had chairs, and didnt sleep in them. It was interesting for 5minutes because people kept walking up and down the train trying to sell you food, mostly dried fish. At the stations people would walk up to the train offering you food at the windows. We like food. As the windows were permenantly open and it got dark, we kept getting abused by families of mosquitos that flew in. The Thais thought nothing of it and slept. We went skitz and didnt sleep. There was a dog under our seat (belonging to the people behind not sarah as the ticket man found out after asking her for a ticket for it). It did a poopoo in the aisle and the guard cleared it up. It was a bit runny. The owners fell asleep and it did another poopoo about 5hours into our 14hr journey. The dog mushed it about a bit. The guard didnt clear it up. Nice doggy though, not rabid dont think.

Got denied by Chiang Mai's bus system so walked to a nice hostel. Twin room with hot water en-suite for 180Baht (about 2.5 GBPs for both of us). It started to get dark at about 6 so zoe began putting on her long sleeves and trousers for fear of more mozzy bites. She fell asleep half way through untill sarah woke her at 8 next morning.

Today, we went on a cooking course. They took us to the market first, lots of chickens feet and cow guts on sale. Found out the 'liver'we ate in our soup in Ayutthaya was probably dog. We learned how to cook lots of yummy thai food from the school, after picking our veg in their farm (wearing rather cool hats, pictures to follow soon). Ate lots, now fat. Well sarah is.

Chilling out, maxing, relaxing and coolin, shootin sum Bball outside o skool for 2nite, hopefully continuing with the no-squits celebrations tomorrow.

P.s thanks for the messages peoplz. Though, we aren't quite sure which 'mum' 'the messages from 'mum' are, but the guessing game is quite enjoyable.
