Its us again!!

So, on tuesday we ate quite a fair bit. After we pulled ourselves out of restraunt chairs we got a lift over to a place with elephants. We rode around on an elephant through the jungle for a bit. It was fun to begin with, because their skin is quite thick and they are unexpectedly hairy. But they walk soooooooo slowly that we soon got bored. After a trip through thorn trees, we went to the river Pai, where the elephants snorted watery snot out of their trunks all over us. They then decided to lie down and roll around with us on their backs (didnt stay on there for long). This was exciting, especially after sarah found a rock to fall off the elephant onto. We asked our guide if we could stand up, and being the non-english-speaking type, he made the elephunk stand up. Zoe screamed like a girl and fell off, to be swept underneath the elephant who was beginning to walk. We then returned to Pai central hoping the laundrette had finished cleaning our only dry set of clothes.

Wednesday we took a trip to Lod Cave. It involved us getting a local bus, somehow they didnt ask us for a fare. We then got a lift in a plush minibus with some executive-types, again we didnt pay. We took a raft into the cave, which to our suprise was much larger and more impressive than cheddar caves. We joined some other english people to hire a guide with a lantern to show us around, again they wouldnt let us pay. We got all the knowledge about the cave we could get from our guide, which involved lots of pointing to formations and the announcing of animal names such as ''crocodile'', ''elephant'', ''elephant ear'', ''frog'', ''tiger''.....

We've just got off our bus from Pai to Chiang Mai, currently using food and the internet to kill some time while we wait for our night train to lopburi.(they have monkeys there!!). After that its off to bangkok so hopefully talk to you all there!
