Today we set out early to go with Matt to his Mum and Dads block of land out in the bush near Bachelor.He was working on building a shed with his Dad and friend so during the day me and kieran amused ourselves,chilling out in the sun and reading..we forgot to bring paper to play games so used leaves instead-creative!!In the evening when work was done Matt took us for a walk around the block of land where we saw a couple of wallabes although they darted off before we could get too close-wild pigs also were around but we didnt see any, as they are quite territorial is not necessarily a bad thing that we didnt.When we got back we set up the tents before it got dark and baked some potatoes on the campfire.Also learnt a bit about star constellations,found southern cross star and also Matt pointed out Venus.Can see so many stars could even see milky way!Amazing,neither of us had ever seen so many stars.After sitting round the campfire for a while we went for a drive to the Billabong across the way to see if we could see the crocodile that apparently is in there..Kieran and Matt saw its eyes above the water but I was too lazy and cold to get out the car!We then drove back and roasted some marshmallows on the campfire-in true camper style!Then went to bed and went to sleep to the sound of all the various animals making noises.
