Today we went for brunch in a nice cafe with all homemade food.and wondered around the streets looking in a couple of temples and just looking at all the cool buildings.in the afternoon we walked across to the posher end of town where we looked in a museum/art gallery.and went into the entrance of one of the poshest hotels on the island.was quite impressive but definently waaay out of our price range.we then wondered back to our hotel and wondered around a near b...

Today we spent most of the day travelling by boat to our next destination Penang.we arrived late afternoon and went for dinner at a nice but bit pricey chinese restaurant.we spent the rest of the evening exploring the streets around our hotel and found a 2nd hand bookshop where we found some cheap good books!

Today the sun was actually out!!so we spent the entire day sunbathing and chilling out on the beach..sadly I (Jenny) got sunburn despite being plastered in suncream,very annoying!

Today was a very very rainy day in Langkawi.we were all geared up in beach stuff when we looked out the window and realised it was pouring!!so instead of a nice relaxing day on the beach we headed into town where we browsed round a shopping mall,played some arcade games and went to see Wanted..not a very cultural day at all!but as alot of the day trips on Langkawi are quite pricey and tend to involve being outside we didnt have much choice.but even still was a go...

today we woke up and found the best resturant (the affordable Bills!!!!) called the red tomato garden where we had brunch. we didnt feel like the beach so we thought we would check out the underwater world which was furthest up the road (apparently the biggest aquarium in asia although the others in asia must be pretty small) and we came out wishing we hadnt as it was horrible seeing animals and fish in cages and tanks far too small and idiots banging on the glas...
