Sounds fantastic! Hope you guys are having a fab time! It's freezing here - you got out just in time! Marky and I thought we would equip you with a couple 'surfer dude' phrases while you ride the waves.

b****in:
(also "b****en") Very good; tops; excellent (also see "Boss," "Excellent," "Primo," "Rad").
Bogus:
False; lame; ridiculous; unbelievable.
Cowabunga:
(also "Kowabunga") A yell of excitement by a surfer (also see "Banzai").
Doggers: (NOT the car park version..hee...hee)
Multicolored swimming trunks.
Dude (Zak):
A male surfing enthusiast (women are referred to as "dudettes"(Melly)).
Gnarly:
Treacherous; large and dangerous. Also b****in
Ripping:
Executing drastic and radical moves on the wave. Having it your way with a wave.
Neptune Cocktail:
The large bellyful of seawater that one ingested during a particularly gnarly wipeout. Usually happened concurrently with the Sand Facial.
Sand Facial (not a spa treatment..hee...hee:
The result of wiping out and being dragged along the bottom, face first.
Selling Buicks:
The process of reversing the ingestion of the dreaded Neptune Cocktail. After selling Buicks, it was generally assumed that ones day at the beach was pretty much over.
