Just arrived in Kathmandu, the final stop of my trip to Nepal. Off to do the Annapurna Circuit on Monday. Last few days have been absolutely incredible. Spent 3 nights in ChitwanNational Park, where we did a jungle walk, saw real rhinos, went elephant washing and for an elephant ride!!!! Will update you with details over the weekend. And obviously the promised photos of India. Until then I'm going to enjoy the sunshine.... :o)

It's hard to believe but I have already been on the road for over a week without the chance of updating my travel blog! Today is my last day in India before heading off to Nepal tomorrow. There is so much to say, and I don't really know where to start. Well, I suppose I should start at the beginning. It all started off rather nicely with an unexpected upgrade on the plane, which meant that I got a decent night's kip. After arriving at Delhi airport on schedule ...

Well then, less than one week to go and time is passing so quickly! There is still so much to sort out and so little time left. I have started to realise what is going to happen in a wee while and I am starting to get nervous but at the same time excited. Went to the London Zoo last weekend to put me into the right mood for Chitwan National Park where I will be in two weeks time. So, Thursday will be my last day in the UK for a long time. And this will be my last...

Less than 4 weeks to go and I will have to start to get prepared!.... And the first step is to get this site up and running. So, on a quite miserable Saturday afternoon, I am sitting at my desk and uploading all old albums so that you can see what I recently have been up to before heading off into the unknown!
