We're sitting on the bus from ho chi Minh to phnom penh, watching the sun turn from yellow to orange and finally to a fiery red as it sets over Cambodia. We spent three nights in Ho Chi Minh, mainly just soaking up the atmosphere and taking in the crazy city lifestyle. On Tuesday we took a trip to the Mekong delta which was awesome! We took little rowing boats along the jungle canals to the factory where they make coconut candy and saw their bee hives and tasted honey tea. Yum! Finally we were serenaded by the locals and fed an assortment of exotic fruits. This morning we got up "early" and had breakfast at the hostel then took motor bike taxis to the war remnants museum. It was really interesting seeing and reading all about the war but quite distressing. Now bring on Phnom Pen!
