The bus journey to Rio de Janiero was actually super, the bus was brilliant and had reclining seats. Would have been perfect if they had sorted out the videos every time to include English subtitles and that we didnt have to watch "Forest Gump" twice freezing at exactly the same point both times. So the journey started. Our first section went really well, it was only three hours and we arrived safely with nothing to report. We booked our night bus to Santa Cruz, so spent a wonderful day walking around Sucures plaza and had a really nice Italian meal. We even made friends with a local boy who I bribed with chocolate to let us have some of his bird seed so we could feed the birds. So we had been sensible booked ahead a hostel, so feeling confident we jumped into a taxi, showed them the address and we were off.
