Hi ho folks,

It's been a while since we've updated. We're on the road now and, as you can see, roughing it. They have free Barbie's everywhere. At this particular beach we watched some great surf, showered at the beachside showers, grilled up our dinner on the free BBQ, had our picnic, and then drove off to a quiet nearby beach to spend the night. Life is pretty darned good.

We're travelling with our friend Kathrin at the moment. 3 of us sleeping abreast in Max is a bit of a squeeze but so far we're still talking.

We travelled north of Perth for a day or two and were amazed at how quickly Perth stopped and the absolute nothingness of "the bush" started. We quickly filled up our Jerry can with gas and bought 20L of emergency water as there's really not much out there. Lots of Kangaroo sightings (both alive and dead), lots of time staring out at the sea contemplating life. We then turned south to the wine regions and I've been carting the girls around to lots of wineries for tastings and cheese platters. We'll be back in Perth at the end of the month for a Jack Johnson concert and to drop Kathrin off at the airport...catch you then.
