Sorry, no pictures yet. I wish you could see the water here. Absolutely beautiful. With the exception of the Triggerfish that we've encountered on the reef, everyone here has been exceptionally friendly. Those little reef bandits are very protective of their territory and I could hear Baebs screaming through her snorkel as they charged her. She then heard me giggling at her misfortune from a couple meters away. Great fun. Lots of relaxing and reading thus far. We head for a small island called Aitutaki in about an hour. More of same I would imagine. Food highlight thus far: "pork" sandwich with applesauce and gravy. I did find some pork in the bun, but mostly nice crispy pig skin with a 1cm layer of fat. Delicious but Oooooh, so unhealthy. That did help to explain why most of the people here are at least twice our size, AND, it left me with a nice shiny coat for the next 2 days. I looked like the Exxon Valdez as I swam through the water leaving my oil slick! Pictures to follow soon.
