Finally after nearly having a heart attack at the quote from the van conversion company of £12,000 we have started on it ourselves. Ordered a neat all in one pre made hob/sink and fridge unit from the van wurks that should come in a few weeks and today a very smart woodburner / oven came in the post curtesey of mum and dad for Christmas.
Stu has just started ripping the bulkhead out and insulating the walls. Wyvale leisure will be fitting the window and electrics on Monday. So hopefully by the end of next week when stu get back from frankfurt we will be ready to get down and dirty making a bed and some storage or maybe, ikea to the rescue.
Very excited about putting the wood-burner from windysmithy in. It's quite a small burner part that kicks out 4kw of heat so I think we will be very toasty when we get to the alps plus it has a oven on the side big enough for a roast dinner or fresh bread to wake up to in the morning, sounds quite appealing.
