Had two cool days in Brisbane I don't recommend anyone ever trying to get a parking spot in the city. Especially when in one area which we tried 30mins was $7! Brisbane is very nice though, probably didn't give Sydney a fair go but the people seem to have a bit more time here and therefore friendlier! The heat is still picking up, it was 28 degrees at 630 it's now 830 but don't think it's any cooler! Brisbane has it's own outdoor lagoon in the middle of the city ...

Not to much to report over the last two days as we have been chilling out at surfers paradise yesterday and then the wet n wild water park today. Had a good day today. Brilliant weather so I finally got the chance to have a swim in the sea which was really good. We have spent the day in a town called coolangatta which has probably got to be the best town so far! This maybe because we spent a whole day here and the weather was great but still. We have just made it to the outskirts of Byron bay! The curry festival was quite interesting there was a stage with some live acts and loads if different stalls selling food and produce! Mind you didn't actually have curry due to flash backs of a curry/holiday related incident a couple if years ago! Firstly this is the view from my bedroom (camper van window) tonight, and it's a welcomed sight after 2days of not much but rain.
