We left Atherton and headed towards The Daintree. When we arrived at the Wonga beach caravan park a nice man, the care taker Bob, showed us around and let us pick a site. We chose a nice site with a beach view and lots of room. That afternoon Jack and I went for a run to opposite headlands of the beach. When we got back we were very sore and tired. Later that afternoon we all went for a walk to the same headland that I ran to. We found lots of hermit crabs, some trees to climb, a dead shovel nose shark and a few more things. Then we watched the sun set from a wooden table on the beach that was made out of tree stumps. When we got back to the van I met some kids while mum and dad were talking to their parents. We played around and smashed some nuts and old coconuts with a hammer, racing each other and played with hermit crab until tea time.
