Kakadu - Gunlom September 14 - today we drove from Edith falls to Gunlom which is in Kakadu national park. We had to drive out a corrugated dirt road to get out to Gunlom, we had a feu loose cupboards and our big aerial fell off the front of the car. When we got into Kakadu the termite mounds got to 2-3 meters tall and 1-2 m meters wide, they also changed colour because of the different colour of the dirt. Edith falls September 12 - today we drove from lovely Mataranka to lovely Edith Falls. When we arrived at Edith Falls we set up and went for a 2km hike up a rocky hill to a waterfall and water hole. When we got there we saw all the different waterfalls and it was surrounded by rocks that we jumped off into the water it was a lot of fun. September 10 - Today we left Daly Waters and drove to Mataranka. We got up and left Daly Waters and headed towards Mataranka. We saw hundreds of termite mounds and burn offs on the side of the roads. When we arrived at Mataranka we when to the shops for bread and a walk around on the grass. We had lunch and got ready for the hot springs. On the way down to the springs a nice couple stopped and gave us a blow-up red lobster to float on but we took our own snorkels...
