Had the most amazing day here. I went river snorkling in the rio prata - one of the clearest rivers in the world. Donned in wetsuits, river boots and snorkles -pictures to follow!- we entered the river one at a time, keeping two metres apart and floated with the current, downstream. We werent allowed to touch the river bed at any time as this would make the crystal clear water murky. At some points the river was really shallow and you had to pull ur belly in to squeeze over rocks, at other points in was 8metres deep!! It was amazing just swimming around with all the beautiful fish who were totally unphased by our presence. Some of them were up to two metres long.

At one point it turned more into extreme sports as the current picked up and sent us crashing down rapids, over rocks - that wasnt in the small print.`keep left to avoid the rocks!` our guide stated - there was no ´keeping´anywhere, you were gone!! It was a real buzz tho. And to top off an amazing day, on the way home our driver slammed on the breaks and started yelling, ´camera!, camera`as we looked out of the window there was an anteater in the field.  Apparently this was a really rare sighting as theyre becoming endangered. It was amazing.
