Port Germein, South Australia
This is one of the longest wooden jetties in the Southern Hemishere, originally 1676m long. In its heyday Port Germein was the largest grain shipping port in Australia. Port Germein Jetty and Goods Shed are State Heritage listed.

There are anumber of salt pans in this area, Explorer Highway S.A., just south of Glendambo. We left Coober Pedy today, heading for Port Pirie.
